Default O-320 exhaust for O-360?

We have a O-320 crossover exhaust from a RV-4, that fits very well on the O-360 A1A of our RV-4. As the main difference of the O-360 is the increased stroke, the exhausts do not fit any more in the crossover section.
Any good ideas how to join the exhaust tubes? Has any one done this before?

You see the separeted exhaust tubes on the upper border of the picture.

Default Exhaust

Since shipping and time is a concern for you,I'd mark the pipes and take them to an automobile muffler shop and ask for them to make you the short pipe extension you need. Otherwise, you could contact Vetterman Exhaust here in the states and ask him to make your part.

The information that I post is just that; information and my own personal experiences. You need to weight out the pros and cons and make up your own mind/decisions. The pictures posted may not show the final stage or configuration. Build at your own risk.

Axel, yes they are. But I agree that they are barely visible on the picture. I just do not have another picture on hand.

So the extension should be welded to one onf the tubes? What if I would just clamp a sleeve over both tubes?
