Default Looking for Denver area hangar space

I am flying to Denver VFR. Arriving ~ 7/29 and departing on ~ 8/4. As it is hail season and I have already lost one plane to hail damage, I would like to hangar my RV-6A while there.

Any chance there is someone headed to Oshkosh at that time who could help me out?

Thanks,

Larry Tompkins

What field do you want to go into? I can probably find a rental hangar at KAPA, but it will be the most expensive in the area. Fuel will be high also.

Default Open to suggestions

The only other time I flew into the Denver Area, which was 13 years ago, I tied down at KBJC when it was known as "JeffCo".

The friends we are staying with live in Lakewood - SE of Wadsworth and Jewell. Jeffco worked out really well. I had the impression that JeffCo was substantially more small GA friendly than Centennial, but that was a long time ago.

KBJC is closer to Lakewood and probably less expensive, if you can find what you want there. KAPA is not GA unfriendly, but it is a lot busier.
