Default transition training NY area ?

who is the closest to Syracuse NY where I can get 5-7 hours in a 6 or 7 tail dragger.

Go to eaa.org, search "loda", and you will find a state by state list of those who hold a waiver ("LODA") allowing them to use their E-AB for transition training.

Not much on the EAA site - the white pages for this area are not up to date (people have moved, sold the airplane, etc.). You might try calling Steve Dwyer at chapter 486 to see who he might know of - alternatively, there are several RVs over at Akron (NY).
