Default Access Cover Edge Gap

In fitting the stall warning access cover on my RV-10 wing and it appears that I slightly over-trimmed one corner of the leading edge hole. With the access plate screwed in place, there is about a 1/16 of an inch where the plate and leading edge skin are not flush. While there is clearly not a structural or safety problem, looking at it now bothered me and I would like to fill it (I also understand that it will be on the bottom of the wing and I will probably be the only one that ever sees it). Does anyone have any suggestions on filling that gap. I really have no idea what would be best, or if it is even worth it. Thanks.
