Default engine parts

I am looking for a source to buy lycoming parts to overhaul my 0-360A4M. I would like to do most of the work myself. I probly will put on new cylinders. I just wondering where to find a book on overhauling specs.

The Direct drive overhaul manual and the applicable parts manual, for the O-360-A4M, should be available from any Lycoming distributor. Parts should be available from any of them, as well as directly from Superior Air Parts or Engine Components Inc. or any of their re-sellers. Most overhaul shops, although maybe not distributors should have most of what you will need as well.
Good Luck,
Mahlon

Jim,

Send Mahlon a note and order their overhaul DVD. It is a great place to start. I watched it a few times before starting in on my O-290 and it gave me the confidence I needed to rip into my engine.
