Default Radio static diagnosis
My RV-6A has a FlightCom 403 intercom. When the intercom is switched to "isolate," I get a crystal clear side tone when I transmit or receive. When the intercom is in the "ICS" position the side tone sounds "fuzzy."

I should mention that I do not have the co-pilot headset plugged in at all.

Do any of you electronics gurus have suggestions for how to trouble shoot this issue?

Do you have any unused wires in the harness that could be for a 4-place installation?
