Air vent placement

Hi All,

As part of a panel upgrade I'm cosndiering moving my air vents from the "standard" location to higher up on the panel. I've seen a couple installations done this way but far more in the traditional location.

Aside from the obvious routing of the vent tubing, is there anything else I'm failing to consider? Anyone put them there and then regretted doing so?

Thanks in advance!

Craig

Consider where the body gives off most of its heat. If you have the outlets at the bottom of the instrument panel in the center pointing at you body, the air will flow past your body and then toward your head, which has the most heat rejection. In this regard, it is also necessary to provide a cabin air outlet somewhere above and behind your head to promote the flow of the cooling air.
