JPI EDM800 display repair

Just aquired a used EDM800 that works fine except for the display. Lights up and displays 3/4 of the page fine except for some of the bottom characters.

JPI wants $300 to fix it - was curious if anyone else had experience with repairing one themselves with a soldering iron.

First off - found out it's a 700 not an 800 as I originally thought. Has an orange gas plasma display....

I took it apart and reflowed all the display pins and resistors directly next to them hoping it was a bad solder joint. No joy.

Unit will be going back to JPI - not for the first time it looks like. Lots of rework on the board already.
