GRT Sport EX Flight Director

Anyone know the steps to get the FD on for the GRT Sport EX EFIS? Do you need to have the autopilot servos? I do not have them.

You don’t need the servos, but you do need the vertical software. Select FD on the autopilot menu.
 
I don’t know. I have an Hx and vertical software and HITS came standard. Truthfully, I don’t use the HITS.
 
Nope, HITS should work without the vertical software. I use it occasionally to my grass strip. The airport does need to be in the database.
