Without a shred of doubt, the -14 is the fastest to build other than the -12.

So say I have a friend in Oregon who may drive back here to Texas in the near future, would the Vans crate for the -14 fit in the bed of a pickup?
Depends on which crates(s) and the size of the truck bed.

We can also sometimes leave kits uncrated but you’d need to have a properly sized and enclosed bed for that trip.

Well just talked to my buddy, he won't be heading this way until sometime next year, so may end up shipping empennage and wings, and let him drive the fuselage this way when he comes. Friend works for a telco in Molalla, OR, what are the chances of that!
