Since the MPG on my Dynon is ground miles, not TAS, the best work-around is to fly at right angle to wind on a day with little or no actual wind. Alternatively, flying directly upwind and directly downwind and simply averaging them works, too. But I really would like to collect better data.
I want to construct a few scenarios for understanding efficiency.
I'd like to collect:
If I can get enough data to create a meaningful spreadsheet I will report back here with it. Please feel free to suggest additional data fields.
I am really only interested in level cruise data, not full power, not idle, not static. But if you want to include those, feel free.
Thanks in advance!

I'd like to collect:
- RPM
- TAS in kts or s.m./h
- FuelFlow
- Density Altitude and/or Pressure Altitude
- Which engine and prop
- Ambient Temp
- MAP if you have it
