Trim tab hinge movement question

Hi all,

I just did a test fit of my trim tab to the left elevator, and everything looks like it lines up well. I don't know how much travel there is up and down since I haven't mounted and hooked up the servo yet. When I move the trim tab up and down it moves freely, but the hinge does make a slight squeaking noise when full up and full down. I don't know if this is normal or if I need to tweak the position of the hinge knuckles some to relieve any stresses.

Any thoughts?

Did some more investigation and it looks like some of the knuckles on the hinge are slightly out of alignment. Probably due to clamping during the riveting process, so I'm working on bending some of them slightly to get them back in alignment and that should take care of the problem. I'll update again when I get through the process.
