Rustoleum Paint FWF

I'd like to paint the little bracket that holds my brake reservoir. On some other items I've tried to use engine paint but I haven't had great success with the outcome. For something like this bracket would standard Rustoleum paint work? Any other suggestions?

Rustoleum

I used mAchine grey rustoleum on my engine and baffle parts that weren’t alclad. Paint is wearing fine. Prep is everything.

Entire engine painted with Rustoleum, everything holding up fine after five flying seasons except some flaking on the valve covers that get hit by stuff in the propwash. (my Fokker biplane semi-replica)

I painted all my baffles on the 6 with Rustoleum Pro paint (the taller cans) and it has held up surprisingly well. My reason was for easier touch up, but it has not really needed any.
