SD-00083 published (supersedes SB-00056/SD 19-12-03)
Van's has published SD-00083, which replaces/supersedes previously released SB-00056 and SD 19-12-03. This was done to ensure owners with affected fuel pumps previously covered in the Rotax service bulletins are aware of the critical and mandatory need to inspect and replace affected pumps per the Rotax documents.
The publication of this document changes the classification of the Van's document, and deprecates the two prior documents to ensure clarity around the mandatory compliance requirement of the Rotax SB documents. Therefore, if you have already complied with Van's SB-00056 (and therefore with Rotax SB-912i-013/SB-912i-013iS), your aircraft is compliant with the new SD-00083.
