Any recommendations for free flight planning website?

it appears my prior go to flight planning website (iflightplanner) just shut off the free version. Does anyone have a recommendation for a free web planning software? or if I'm going to have to start paying what's the best value out there?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I use Weathermeister.com but if I had to use a FREE one, I would use https://www.1800wxbrief.com/

Before ForeFlight and its fuel prices, I would also go to Plan A Flight with Fuel at AirNav.com to make sure that I was not paying $1 per gallon more fuel at a stop with crosswind runways.

There are a few other links I use for long range weather planning before a long trip but not sure that is what you are looking for.

AND do not forget VAF Wx Maps.

I really like skyvector.com. Not the most intuitive to use, but there are some good tutorials out there.

You can map out your route, then send an email to yourself with the plan in foreflight format. Open the email on your phone and it will start your foreflight app, then you can send it to the panel via wifi (Dynon for me).
I also can email myself a PDF flight planner and just print it out at home for a paper copy of the flight. Always nice to have a paper copy to write information on, and as a backup for any electronic glitches.

navmonster.com

I'll give my usual shout out --

navmonster.com

Web/Desktop and Mobile versions(free & available on the App store)

It's pretty good for visualizing Wx enroute. I'm sure that we could get him to add FPL/EFB capability at some point.

I like skyvector as well, in combination with fltplan.com and fltplan GO. Makes it easy to plan at home and upload into Dynon Skyview at the airport.

If you?re a cfi, Wingx offers a free subscription. It?s actually very good. I?d pay for it if I had to, but don?t tell them that.😜
