RV6 Training

I have insurance requirements on what is needed on my RV6 build. I specifically need 20 hours in a RV6 with a minimum of 10 hours with a CFI with RV6 experience. I will also need a tailwheel rating as well.

Any ideas on where I could get such training in the North Texas area? I live near Amarillo and would be open to training in my area too.

Combining this training with IFR currency would be a plus.

If I can't reasonably get RV6 training, it is not too late for me to build it with a tricycle landing gear.

1. Get a tailwheel endorsement in a normally certified airplane from your nearest FBO that offers it.
2. Check with insurance company, see if RV7 is okay for training. Then find someone with a 6 or 7 and a LODA and a CFI, all for hire.

Try [email protected] he used to use an rv 6, but now using an rv 7. He’s in the Dallas are. Phone number is 972-775-1896 . I plan on using him when the time comes.
Hope this helps.
