Default MISC AMI Fuse Holders & Busbars - VAF Donation

Hi Folks,

I have some leftover fuse holders and bus bars for AMI type fuses. I purchased these from CCI. I put the fuse in as an example but it is not part of the sale. For full disclosure I decided not to use these because I didn't like the rubber cover otherwise they look sturdy and the lock together. They could be used separately and the covers come off if you don't need/want a cover.

I'll take the highest bidder on these. I'll throw in slow shipping.

All proceeds to go to the VAF. I encourage others to donate the proceeds from items that are sitting around and you don't need.

Well... Lots of view but no bidders.

Just in case folks don't know this type of fuse can be a smaller alternative to the much larger ANL fuse. They are available in high currents of at least 80 amps. I'm not sure of the highest value available but I have seen 80.

Where do the wires go in under the red cover?
What about the cover didn't you like?
What did you use instead?

thx!

Default Last Call on these before I Toss them

The red covers sit above the plane of the mounting lugs so the wires would normally go out the ends but they could also go out the sides if they weren't ganged together.

The thing I didn't like was the covers are rubber and there are solid wedge shaped plastic pieces from the base the push up through the cover and hold it in place. The covers just don't snap on and off easily and the molded rubber isn't perfect in this area. I'm very picky about such things, but others might say its fine.

I used the Littlefuse fuse holder instead.

These are similar. They actually are not quite as rugged as the ones I have up for sale, but the covers are plastic like the base and they too can be ganged. You have to make your own bus bars and if you want to bus them you have to cut the covers to allow the bus bar to exit the cover.

I'm going to give everyone one last chance on these before I toss them.
