Yes, I’m selling, and yes there was a buyer. At the time I was unable to sell without a replacement aircraft.
I did not email your friend and tell him that I’d sell it for $145,000 to him. With all due respect, what you’re saying is untrue. However, he and I had a conversation on the telephone and I told him I’d sell it to him for our agreed upon price of $105,000, to honor our conversation. He was upset that someone else saw the airplane, and at that time, I suggested that it may be better to go our separate ways, as I was unhappy with his demeanor. For what it’s worth, he was never making flight arrangements. He was waiting to talk to family in Coeur d’Alene before letting me know on a potential schedule, and interest level. He left it with me as my airplane was a “definite possibility”
To be honest, your friend having told me that he had gone to see eight airplanes, some by his own admission being quite nice, gave me pause. He didn’t really sound serious, and frankly, I’m not still sure that he was.
