Spinners and such...

Just an FYI.

If you have CS prop that uses the Van's Spinner (S-601) and Rear Bulkhead (S-602-1) and were thinking about upgrading to the Hartzell G2YR/N7605W-2X with the D-4798-P Spinner -- here's a comparison of the two spinners.

The D-4798-P spinner (which includes front, rear bulkheads) is slightly smaller than the Van's spinner.

You show shape and size. There seems to me to be a lot more to discuss.

If yours is the same as my Hartzell spinner, then the Hartzell is adjustable for and aft. Once the cowl is built a builder has limited control the spinner/cowl gap by using spacers to adjust the position of the spinner. I'm sure the weight of the Hartzell is higher....it sure is sturdy. The Hartzell is a bolt on product.....no fabrication to be done.

I've not held a Vans Spinner so I can't compare
