Tip: Do not rivet clecos

I'm sure the full time builders have some form of this but I just figured it out myself. Take 25 or so clecos and wrap the shaft with painters tape so they are "marked" as do not rivet clecos. Now you don't need to tape over the holes instead you can just put do not rivet clecos in them.

Nice tip, Thanks, I had not used this trick. When I read it I thought, who rivets clecos anyway, what is this???

Thanks again!

do not rivet clecos

Or you could do like I did and go ahead and fill these holes with rivets...Only to wake at 2:00am out of a deep sleep realizing your mistake.

I used a dirt simple method of putting electrical tape over the holes that don't need rivets. Cleco's easily pierce the tape.
