Best breakfast in PA or OHIO??

A bunch of us Canadians are looking for a good breakfast stop south of Lake Erie to practice our eapis/border crossing, international flight plan/customs work in the next few weeks, prior to our bahamas run end of april.

Anyone able to point to a great breakfast spot very close to an airport in Pennsylvania or Ohio. Must have great coffee, big cheesy omelettes, and well cooked bacon! :D:D Cheap gas a plus too.

Figured some locals could chime in with recommends. Maybe even show up and make fun off all the funny talking dudes from up north.

Tin Goose Diner Carl R Keller Field Airport (PCW), The Tin Goose Diner has changed their hours! : Tin Goose Diner is a restored 1950s diner attached to the Liberty Aviation Museum, located next door to the Erie-Ottawa International Airport, Carl R Keller Field KPCW.

The diner is open 7 days a week serving top flight meals. For hours, please visit our website as our hours do change throughout the year! When in doubt about the weather, please visit our Facebook Twitter pages for closures due to inclement weather.

Parking available for airplanes behind the museum hangar is available, provided no special events are going on at the museum. Large planes can park at the airport terminal and guests can be shuttled over or take the sidewalk, located by the street, beyond the fence.

Please do not attempt to walk through the grass from the airport or walk on the active taxiway. We have a FREE shuttle service from our facility to the airport and vice versa. You can let us know if you need a shuttle either by radioing in as your are taxiing in, by calling us to request a shuttle pickup or inquire inside the airport 419-732-0236 or 419-732-0234 for a shuttle from the museum to bring you over.

All proceeds from the diner help fund the operation of the Liberty Aviation Museum, home to the B-25J Georgie's Gal, the Island Airlines Tri-Motor restoration, a current WWII PT boat restoration of the PT-728 Thomcat and more!

Thanks

That is where we will likely clear customs. Been to tin goose and always great but we will likely have 10 or more and they are always jammed. Want to stop there for customs then fly another 30 or so to some little airport with a good diner we can walk too.

KTSO has great food and homemade pies and good fuel prices.

It's a small airport, but has good food.

Used to live in that general area. Great food and pies. Also, there is a upscale restaurant that requires a walk through the woods(1/4 mile or so). The problem is I never did take the walk so have no real experience. Ask a local on the field for advice. Cheap gas too. John

If you're really feeling adventurous, you can't beat Urbana-Grimes, I74, just NE of Dayton. Birthplace of the Grimes Lighting Systems (our red/green nav lights among other lights), a museum with a B-17 under restoration, and... yes... deathly-delicious homemade pies.
