Forced Air Heat Manifold/System or Heat Pad

I'd like to fabricate a duct/manifold to fit over the opening where my Vetterman exhaust pipes (4) exit underneath the cowling where I could connect a heat vent pipe from a small ceramic space heater. Has anyone done this and if so do you have photos of your invention.

Question 2: any experience with the 250w or 500w Kat oil sump heat mat? If so, how did you attach it to the oil sump? I have an iox 360 and I suppose the sump may be aluminum and magnetic attachment would not be possible.

Thanks

I have used the 250 Kats magnetic heater for 6 years. Remove magnets and jb weld to sump, cover cowl with packing blanket and your oil will never get below 75* degrees.

I think my $35 Amazon heater pad is Kats, but at any rate its adhesive backed and works great. I have them on all my airplanes.

So, the sump is aluminum and the magnets will not work? (IOX 360)..Obviously I'm not the builder of this fine machine..
