Default Tip Tanks

Anyone have a hotel Whiskey or similar long range tip tanks on their RV 3 ?. I checked their site and the 3 is not mentioned however the 4 is. Jon Johanson flies a 3 now and Iím pretty sure he has tip tanks although Jon probably engineered them him self.

I've never seen them. However - if I wanted to have longer range, I'd consider making mine an RV3-AB. That is: Wing tanks AND fuselage tank.

Or have a look at what the Rocket brigade is doing with lengthening their regular wing root tanks to include one or more ribs. (Look at Ray Wards tanks halfway down this page: https://www.f1aircraft.com/team-rock...-news-updates/)

Would any of these fit somewhere inside?

They look like the smoke oil the tanks from the kits without the rest of the kit.

Paul,
I've installed three sets of Hotel Whiskey tanks. My RV4, HR2 and current 6X. Hollywood and Cheez are good friends from a previous life and we built our fours at the same time. I'm sure if you contacted Cheez directly he could help. Email me offline for his contact info.
