Van's has introduced Rivet Spray!

That's great, but manually squeezing the nozzle on that can is going to get old after a while. Will it work with some sort of pneumatic spray gun?
 
Hrm... It's in a rattle-can. Is this going to upset people if there's no two-part or water/acid based version? We need a rivet spray primer war to distract us from primer wars!
 
3, 4 and early 6 builders out of luck?

Now riveting is just a SNAP! Just place your rivets in the prepunched holes in your kit, spray Van's Aircraft Rivet Spray? on ANY PART of the rivet FROM ANY ANGLE and the rivet will magically SET ITSELF to the proper length!!

Hmm...looks like it only works on the newer kits...

... The order line doesn't work for some reason! There must be to many people trying to place orders at the same time. Will try later....:D
 
Can't wait

Until Van's offers its first 3-D 'U-Build-It' Kit. Maybe the RV-13 tail dragger LSA with the small Lycoming engine. The whole kit will come to you on a CD - install into your 3-D Printer and in a few days, you have a complete airplane!

Some fun!!! This would obsolete all the other kit build airplanes - gives a new meaning to Ironflight's "Kit Plane" Magazine. All you have to do is pay for the kit and document the 3-D 'building' process.:cool:
