Yellow RPM ARC

The RV6 we bought has a Dynon set up. It has a yellow arc on the tach from 2000-2250. I understand what the yellow arc is for and means. Those numbers are just what the Dynon install manual says to set them at. My question is does anybody have anymore knowledge of where they should really be set? It is a RV6 with 0320 with a Sensinich prop. I realize it depends on airframe, engine, prop and other factors, but curious if those numbers are close or anybody has any more information. Thank you

I believe these RPM restrictions are given out by the prop manufacturer and generally dependent on the engine and ignition. I'd check with the Sensenich guys:

I found the RPM limitations on my O-360/prop combination in the Propellers Type Certificate Data Sheet. TCDS are a document controlled by the FAA and available to the public on line. This is a link that has them organized by make and model. Select your Prop Manufacturer, then your propeller model number and go to its TCDS.

The 2000 to 2250 range is typically for certain Hartzell CS props due to a harmonic. As mentioned, to make sure your Sensenich has the same limitations, look at the TCDS, but I doubt it.
