I am building a straight RV8 and vacationing in the PHX Scottsdale area for the month of Feb. I was wondering if anyone else is building a 8 in that area that I could visit. Mine is about 85% done and currently installing avionics.

I live in northern Ohio and there are few RVs in my area.

I know Jeff Mitchell is in the Phx area and has a beautiful -8. His build is on mykitlog. He may monitor his pm's.

I see you are in Oshiwa CA. I spent a lot of my youth flying Beech 18's with automotive freight in and out of there.

I'm building an -8 about an hour south of where you in Coolidge if you care to stop by. I'm a fair amount behind you though. Just beginning canopy work.
