Garmin roll servo orientation

Hi gang,
Can someone please advise me on the correct positioning of the Garmin roll servo on an -8? Is the shaft oriented more on top or bottom...or does it matter, when mounting it in the bracket.

Have you found the RV-8 roll servo installation drawings on pages 18-32 and 18-33 of the Rev. AL G3X/G3X Touch installation manual?
