Tooling hole in Canopy aft canopy hole frame

Hi,

There is a tooling hole in the W-631A aft canopy frame channel which rivets to the WD-725 side weldment. There is two holes that are opened up for a AN3 bolt that secures the canopy lug to the aft channel and side weldment (The two center holes in the picture below). The problem is there is a tooling hole in the aft channel just 1/8 to 1/4 away. This won't meet edge distance to the tooling hole. What has everyone else done?

Yeah, there is definitely some interference with the tooling hole. However, the way I see it is the canopy frame is really just a spacer between the AL angle on the back of the F-725 weldments and the latch bracket. I say drill it and move on. It's not like there is anything you can do to avoid it! Here is how mine turned out:
