VM1000 fuel calibration

Can someone share the fuel calibration procedure for a Vision Microsystems VM1000 system? I know you collect data in __ Gal increments as you fill your tanks... what I don't recall is if you have to send the data to VM to create a chip... If yes, does JPI do this now? Or has that ship sailed...
Thanks,
Brad

It depends if you have the newer C (color) unit or the older LCD version. The old version required you to document the quantity levels and send to VM for chip calibration. Whereas with the 1000C, you can do the calibration as described in the previous post. I’m not certain if JPI can help but I would suspect not. You might want to try Reggie at this site:

He was providing support, but as you’ll see, backed out during the pandemic. He appears to be trying to get things going again. Let’s hope, many of us are still using these units.
