What are these nutplantes on my firewall for?

QB kit from 2005, no where in the plans does it show these two nutplates. They came installed. The second is just above, and inboard of that bottom motor mount bolt.

Anyone know?

Edit: nutplates, I have no idea what a nutplante is.

Boost Pump?

From their location, I would guess they are for the boost pump used with carbed engines.

Facet fuel pump mounting points... cabin side, for carbed install.

Screw It

Put a screw in from the cockpit side to fill the hole. Or that may be an AN3 bolt. I'm not looking at mine right now, but I think that's the size.
