I would like to make a suggestion and a request. There is a community of RV-12 owners out here who have a very keen interest in any RV-12 incident or accident, for obvious reasons.
I suggest that since this thread was started with a factual report from the NTSB, that it be allowed to remain open as long as only facts are brought forth here.
My request is, that all posters respect Doug's rules about speculation and post only facts in this thread so that it might remain open. If you must speculate, there are lots of other places to do it.
Having said that, I personally would like to know what type of fuel was being used in this airplane. I could not find that information in the NTSB report. Please do not speculate on what type of fuel could have been used, only reply if you know for sure.
