For those weight conscious
Haven't really approached the build with weight savings in mind but these made sense
Firewall forward 1/2" wide clamps.

5/16" Only on scat tube. I expect them to provide enough tension to secure the tubing.

Very interesting! I never realized the weight difference between narrow and wide. (Actually, never realized you could get a narrow in the larger sizes.)
For that matter, not sure why safety wire or tie wraps wouldn't work on SCAT tubing or crankcase vent, etc. E.g., the ClampTite tool guy that makes what look like perfectly good wire banding installations for hoses.

Occasional disassembly easier with worm gear clamps.

i wouldn't install any worm gears that aren't made by "Breeze"
Are any of these grainger ones used on any STC'd installs? Breeze are...

Sounds expensive
So very little (none actually, I guess) of our EAB aircraft are subject to STC's or certificated hardware. Why hold a hose clamp to that standard?
