Getting back in the saddle

N131RV

Well Known Member
November 2011 I decided to curtail piloting while building my business.

I really only intended to take a break for a year or so. Best laid plans, etc. :)

N131RV (and my other two planes) became hangar queens, racking up rent and maintenance, but no hours.

But, this year I made a commitment to get back in the left seat.
I've got some real work to do, but d*mn I miss flying!!!

Hope to see some of you up there soon.

Hey Joe! I remember you; used to fly your RV into Weiser several times a week, then I hopped you a ride in a CAF AT-6 outta Stinson a few years ago... glad you're getting back to it! Hose off the dust and go fly!

Still Crazy After All These Years

That was a terrific day. It's not so much the dust as the rust. :)

I'm working on flying again every day now. The planes are in sad shape, much work to be done.

But I will get it done, quick as I can.

Keep the shiny side up.
