I have 2 x G5, GTN650Xi, GAD29, GAD13, 2 x GSA28 , GMU11, GMC507
all this are connected together.

How Area 760 can get attitude information from G5 ?

Eric,

You don’t need to connect the 760 to the G5 for attitude information since the 760 has an internal Adhars. Page 34 discusses how to enable the internal attitude source in the 3D Vision setup on page 34 (see below).

May not answer your question how to connect to a G5 but look at Appendix D for interfacing.

The Aera 760 Pilot's Guide contains the information you will need to enable the internal AHRS on the device. Page 34 provides step-by-step instructions for doing so. Note that the Aera 760 must be hard mounted in the aircraft, perpendicular to the direction of flight for this feature to work as intended.

There is no option to provide attitude information from the G5 to the Aera 760.

Thanks,

Justin

Thanks for your reply,

I have read this part before my post and I have forget to say :
my 760 is not "hard mounted" to the panel.

it's best if in future he can be possible to have this.
like G5->GAD29->GTNXI->connext (stream510 or cable)-> 760

Garmin pilot get attitude informations from stream510 , no ?

Regards
Eric

Eric,

You don’t need the 760 to actually be hard mounted to the panel. Use the mount provided and get a Ram ball specifically made for the Aera 760 and screw it on. Then you can have the 760 nice and secure on a Ram mount ball mounted to the cockpit where you want it. Then go to the 3D Vision page and tell the 760 it is panel mounted in one of the menus. Then you can use portrait or landscape then enable the internal Adhars.

Get one of these to mount on the 760 cradle:
https://www.amazon.com/RAM-Mounts-A...797&sprefix=aera+760+ram+mount,aps,165&sr=8-2

And one of these to mount in the cockpit:
https://www.amazon.com/Mount-RAM-B-...797&sprefix=aera+760+ram+mount,aps,165&sr=8-8

Then a double socket extension in whatever size you need:

Thanks, I have no issue to fix, it's already fixed to airplane's joystick.
I have no other possibility, panel is full.

I will try with internal, but it's not perpendicular to the direction of flight and move when I move joystick, I think he can't work correctly in this case.

Thanks,
Eric
