Default Help locate a thread

Folks,

I try find a thread from a engine build, my searches are no success.

The engine was pimped with enlarged airbox and intake pipes ++
The builder talked about very high performance etc.

Anyone seen and know which one I talk about ?

Best regards!

Do you remember what model plane or engine size? Sometimes narrowing down the search parameters using "Advanced Search " helps.

I am pretty sure the engine was 360, the intake pipes was pimped hugh.
So was the airbox. I got a feel this builder had done several builds.

I tried narrow down, but noop...

I find it easier to use Google search and specify the site to search.

example:

site: vansairforce.com intake airbox

If you put quotes around the search terms, it will look specifically for that string only.

site: vansairforce.com "enlarged airbox"

The above returns your post only.

Any idea how long ago this was??

8-10 years ago (as I recall) or slightly less, AC aero engines was posting some interesting intake systems. ACE engine or something like that. Kevin Eldridge was also posting about them IIRC. He was on here as "Relentless"----haven't seen anything from him in at least 5 years.

Bob Mills also showed his new intake a few years back, but that was on a 6 cyl.

There's a sticky post on VAF searches:

Several good ideas in there.
