I have FlightCom 403M Panel Mounted Intercom with Garmin SL40 in my RV-12. I’m told the Tx sounds very good when I transmit with very little background noise.
Rx sounds really good if I use “Isolate” function. When I use “All” the Rx has some background noise when I transmit. Listening is also not as clear in “All” Vs. “Iso”.
I have LightSpeed Zulu3 for pilot and Dave Clark for Co-pilot. I have tried several other headsets including Zulu2 on the right side with same result.
The problem is not the end of the world, but I’d like to fix it if possible. Any thoughts?
