Original ship date ?

Does anyone know if there is a way to figure out the original ship date of a particular kit ? I'm the second owner of a 7A kit and I don't know how long the previous builder had possession.

Give Vans a call with the kit number, original purchaser and they should be able to tell you the kit ship dates. You will need to coodinate all that information with Vans (including your bill of sale from the original owner) to get the kit bill of sale from Vans in your name to register the kit with the FAA for an N number prior to inspection and airworthiness certificate.
