My ZAON MRX no longer displays messages properly. Whereas the LED display used to offer information concerning nearby airplanes, now the LED display is gibberish.
I re-seated the ribbon cable connecting the LED display to the main board to no avail.
Is there anyone in the community who is able to fix these things or is there anyone with parts? I am not ready to embark on ADS B yet so I'd like to use device this for a few more years.
Traveling into SOCAL is even more exciting when the ZAON is flashing ALERT, ALERT, ALERT. It's better than nothing.
