Probably a stupid question, but...

I am looking at an RV-8 that has listed a G430W. Looking at the photo the front plate shows GNS 430. Does the WAAS version say that on the front plate, or is it still just GNS 430? Is there a way to visually tell from the front plate if a unit is a non-W or W?

My 430 WAAS shows up in the start up screen, not on a label

You can tell by the part number label on the box but not the front of the unit.

Also, there are 430s that were upgraded to a 430W. I think you better look at the start up screen if you don't want to take the unit out.
