Spark Plug choices

Looking for some suggestions for plug options for my engine.

Lyc IO-360 Angle Valve using a Plasma III. What seems to be the best choices for reliability, cost, ease of finding, ect.

Thanks,

BR8ES NGK

The NGK #3961 is a BR8ES solid top plug that I beleive most people are using. You can get the same plug with a threaded cap but I won't run one as I've had problems with them arcing. There is the BR8EX with the iridium electrodes that some say runs better or lasts longer.
LSE has Kluas's preferred plug listed on his website, but it's not this plug.
Oh, check you don't have the long reach cylinders first.

I don't know about your ignition system but with P-mags I recommend the NGK BR8ES solid top AND that they are replaced every year. A set of eight auto plugs cost less than one aviation plug and you don't have to clean them.

I've used the Denso IK27 with the same engine/ignition combination as yours.

They performed very well, but I have no other types for comparison on that aircraft.

I'm now using the BR8ES with a PMag in a different aircraft with no problems so far. Go for the solid tops as advised above. I got them from the local O'Reilly auto parts store ordered for next day collection.
