Just curious if anyone has tinted their RV canopy (back portion of canopy) and any feedback. Summer is coming and I am wondering if this will help with the heat?

If you share an email address, I send you how I did mine after rebuilding my new canopy. I have only flew the last part of last summer but, it's working out great.

I considered this for the same reason but Vans doesn't recommend the darker tint if you might fly at night. The standard canopy is lightly tinted. I believe a no-tint version is also available.

I'm considering the perforated vinyl to the canopy as well. I got a scrap piece of plexiglass from our local aircraft paint shop and tried the vinyl. Stuck beautifully. I'm going to try and see what it takes to remove it after a week. I want to know I won't ruin my canopy if I decide I don't like it.
