Factory new engine on wing storage

My factory new IO-390 for my 14A will be delivered tomorrow and I will probably hang it this weekend. It will then be 4 to 5 months before I am ready to hit the start button. I just reviewed the Lycoming short and long term storage sections in the installation manual and it is not clear how to address this type of "storage". I sent my question to Lycoming tech support but no response. What did you other smart people do to protect it but still be able to work on it during FWF build-up, cowling, baffles and the other tasks?

Just do the common sense things:
- Keep the exhaust ports sealed. No need to hang exhaust until after the cowl is is done.
- Keep a seal between the induction sump and the throttle body when your do all the snorkel fit up. Do the install right just prior to first engine start.
- Keep the crank vent sealed.
- Do not turn the crank if you can avoid it.
