Been using them for years, two in David Clark, two in Peltor.
Highly recommend the gel ear seals too.
Very good product IMHO.
They also make a ships power module you can hard wire into the plane. No need to fool around with the battery box. One module will power two headsets, but you need to splice in a second jack.

Good results
I also have had very good results and have used these upgraded headsets for several years. I also have the panel-mounted power connector wired in after the avionics master.
I have on occasion had a squeal develop in one of the ear cups. The solution was just to fill the cavity with something like a wad of tissue.
I purchased their cable upgrade so that the power, mic, and phones wires are all incorporated into a single cable.
The kit itself is not that difficult to do if you have basic soldering skills.
