Throttle and mixture linkage in IO320

I'm getting ready to hang my IO320 E1B (from a Citabria) on my RV-6A. I'm using vertical induction into my Bendix servo (RSA-5ADI). To use the direct line from cockpit to throttle, pushing the control will close the throttle! There doesn't seem to be space to re-orient the throttle arm to get the right direction. What have others done? Loop back the cable from the front of the engine? Install a bell crank to change direction?
All the planes I have been able to look at are using the snorkel and horizontal induction on 360s which is no help.
On the mixture arm I haven't been able to figure out which way leans the mixture. Can someone help me with this too?
