Garmin 650xi and Flightstream 210

I upgraded my 430W to the new 650XI, its very impressive. I so added a flight stream 210 to work with my IPAD ect.

I have everything installed and the flightstream will not work... checked power and ground they are good. I know the unit has power going to it and the right pin as I checked them... but the flight stream wont show on my ipad Bluetooth.


The connects button is grayed out on the 650xi so I cannot initialize the pairing of the 210.

Approach fast stack built the harnesses and tested them so I have every confidence they are correct.

What am I missing? Software issue?

FS210 232 setting to CONNEXT Format 1?
Did you follow the setup in the install manual?
It also helps to have Garmin Pilot installed so you can access the setting on the FS210.

I did, but the connect menu is grayed out on my GTN650xi and won’t allow me to select it so that I can go into pairing mode.

Spoke with Garmin and suggested one test I will do at the hanger and more then likely I will have to find a Garmin dealer to do a firmware update....
