RV-7 N16DK is airworthy!!

The DuPage (Chicago) FSDO was kind enough to send out not 1, not 2, but 3 inspectors to look over my airplane! They were really great to work with and everything went smoothly. They said it was one of the nicest they've inspected and even complimented the safety wiring.



Thanks to all the contributors to this sight as it has been an invaluable resource throughout the building process. How did people build airplanes before the internet??

Looking forward to the first flight in the next couple of weeks.

Nicely done! I hope to make it to the finish line someday, too. In the mean time, I live vicariously through you guys. It's pure inspiration I tell ya.

Keep at it! There were definitely times when I didn't think the day would come. It's an awesome feeling now that it's here! To finish a project like this definitely requires a massive amount of perseverance.
