Default Cheap Garmin compatible Temp sensor

I was wondering if there are any generic/cheap thermocouple sensor will work with Garmin GEA24 that one can install to get some input from the cowl side.

You can make one. Most of the thermocouples just solder the two J or K wires together and to the metal probe. Different approaches for the grounded and non-grounded varieties, I believe. I suspect McMaster has several affordable sensors also.
