I did a search to no avail here but...

Anyone heard of these folks? http://www.quietaviation.com/programs/qtpower.html

They claim to have a Corvette engine in a C-172

There is a little bit of information on the web, including a short video of an engine start. All the entries are over 3 years old however.

a bit heavy

The Corvette engine (late model aluminum block) is rather heavy for a 172. I wonder how the CG is?

Just say NO !
You will be doing the testing of there engine at YOUR expense, and at your risk. It won't do what you think it will.
