Camloc door on nose wheel fairing to reduce drag???

Just wondering if anyone's tried installing camloc doors on the nosewheel fairing to close the tow bar holes and reduce drag??? I've got a couple of these laying around just begging to be used. ....Yes I know the difference may be so small as to be barely measurable.

nosewheel plug

You know you can go to most any True Value aircraft supply department and get a plug that will fit most common hole sizes and they pop out easy when you need to use a towbar. :)

Coolness factor...

To heck with performance differences, just think how COOL it will look!

I think we do a lot of stuff just to show off our individuality.

You got the part and the time, go for it!

In the soaring world, we use white electrical tape to cover gaps and holes to reduce drag. To each his/her own. ;)
