GRT EIS fuel pressure

I have installed the EFII system 32 ( had the original EFII for 260 hours) and am setting the fuel pressure on my EIS4000 which converts electric current to fuel pressure. I have a pressure gage temporarily teed into the fuel rail and it reads 15-20 psi less than shown on the EIS. Have I tried to verify with a false logic?

Thanks

Resistor

My EIS4000 fuel pressure sensor requires 4.8 volt excitation and a resistor appropriate for the range of pressure sender. GRT website shows this . You mention rail so fuel injection needs specific sender and sender appropriate for pressure measured.

EIS 4000 fuel pressure

I do have the 4.8 voltage for it. Was just trying to verify pressure. Thanks.
Maybe it isn’t possible with a gage temporarily teed in.

Verifying EIS fuel pressure

I purchased a water pressure gage and a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer which I teed into the fuel pressure rail. It worked great and my EIS was off about 8 psi. Fuel pressure is important on an electric dependent engine.
